Youth Programs
Empowerment programs for children infected/affected by HIV/AIDS. These programs provide various opportunities for youth through field trips, recreational activities, nurturing, tutoring and mentoring. We partner with volunteers to help offer these children the tools necessary to break the cycle of HIV and poverty.
Meals/Food Pantry
This program consists of two parts, assisting with our food pantry and preparing/cooking meals for those too ill to cook for themselves.
Buddy Program
Volunteers work one on one with clients who have additional needs and no support system at home.
Client Support
Volunteers assist clients with occaisional needs such as basic yard work, spring cleaning, hospital visits, etc.
Fundraising
Consider hosting a company sponsored event. Examples are carwash, bowl-a-thon, cocktail party, or a company sponsored raffle.
Office/Administrative Assistance
Volunteers assist with basic office duties such as answering phones, filing and data entry.
Maitenance/Minor Repairs
Volunteers are needed for projects such as painting, cleaning, repair of our various facilities and some client's homes.
Website
Volunteers periodically update and maintain content on our beautiful new EVAN websites.
Social Websites
Volunteers maintain and update social sites such as Facebook, YouTube and MySpace.
Bingo
Volunteers assist with all aspects of Bingo games held Saturday from 10:00am-4:30pm and Sunday from 5:30pm-10:30pm at Suburban Hall in Southern Shopping Center, Norfolk.

Special Events
Volunteers assist with the planning and implementation of special events. We also look for planning committee members.

Board Membership
Join the Board of Trustees and play a part in the governance of EVAN and our mission. Board members participate in fundraising activities and public relations.
