Our Work
Case Management
The AIDS Fund's concern & care extends beyond the client to include the entire affected family unit. We provide critical services to ensure our clients and their families receive medical, financial and emotional care, thus ensuring a healthy life and brighter future. Case Managment Programs are supported by Ryan White Title I, Medicaid AIDS Waiver and HUD Funding. In the past 12 month, we provided services to more than 1,241 individuals.
Housing Asistance
The AIDS Fund provides both housing assistance and/or rental subsidies. We own and/or manage 5 transitional housing units throughout Hampton Roads, doing our part to break the cycle of homelessness.
Meals Program
Our Meals Program consists of 2 parts; a Food Pantry and Cooked/prepared meals. More than 9,000 meals were provided to our clients in need over the last year.
Support Groups
We provide 5 different support groups to better serve our clients and loved ones affected by HIV/AIDS. Each group is targeted to specific populations within the community.
Outreach
Our qualified staff of 10 Outreach Specialists locate individuals who are infected with HIV and are not currently receiving care. Outreach Specialists work to reduce obstacles for these individuals to access proper medical care and all of our services.
